Service Installation & Setup

Gamestream is a cloud-based service and thus does not require powerful machines. We typically ship Android-based set-top-boxes (STB) so that our datacenter can send video information to the devices. However, you just have to make sure your internet connection can deliver 12Mbps at the end of each wire.

You, or the hotel staff are in charge of installation. The installation may be very light, but we suggest that you contact your equipment provider to set up your network. If you have any troubles regarding this, please contact us at support@gamestream.biz.

Access to the game catalog, and all the equipment needed for 2 players (1 STB + 2 controllers) start at 100$ per month, billed annually. You also have access to a shop in which you may order more controllers, STBs, and accessories.

Please direct a bank transfer to the bank coordinates mentioned in your invoice. If you have any troubles with your invoice, please contact us at support@gamestream.biz

If you have not received your order, check the tracking number that you have received by mail once the payment has been confirmed to track its progress. If you have not received a confirmation email for your order being shipped, make sure the payment went through. If you still have a problem, please contact us at support@gamestream.biz.

WiFi currently is not stable enough to be supported. To ensure an optimal experience you are required to connect your STB to the internet via a cable connection (12Mbps).

Service Usage

Games available to Gamestream users are the same for every customer. Our curators will roll two games every quarter so that your customers always find fresh content. The new games in your catalog will be determined by user activity. We make sure that there is a good balance between all game categories and what your customers like to play.

To turn the STB on, simply plug the electrical wire in, make sure at least one controller is connected and press a button on your controller. It will turn on on its own.

After a period of inactivity, the STB will play game trailers. To turn it off completely, unplug the power supply.

Gamestream has disabled saving in games so that every player has the same experience, and so that no user enters a game to find that someone has already completed the game. Otherwise this would require a Gamestream account for each of your customers.

Please contact support@gamestream.biz to get a new gamepad. Gamestream is not responsible if you order a gamepad from a third-party store or website.

Please file an incident report and send it at support@gamestream.biz

While multiple players are able to play in a local multiplayer mode (on the same screen with several gamepads) depending on the game, we do not yet allow online matchmaking.
